Read the "news" and silence of the morning of Wednesday May 6 made me think about things on the "major epidemic Swine that humanity will end before the entry of 2010. Although we read the views of people like me, think no big deal (does NOT mean that we should not give importance to some extent), analyzing the situation from a socio-political approach, my thought goes to the moral issues life on Earth.
Read, think, write me and talk. Enough of such impunity, while we are busy in shopping malls, television, video games, fashion, Internet, consumption in general ... finally, the microworld that we created in the cities.
Influenza (Swine, H1N1, Human):
The true face of a silent pandemic.
For weeks the media have bombarded humanity with the epidemic of "swine flu," H1N1 influenza "and finally appointed by the WHO as a Human Influenza." To date (May 6, 2009 at 2:03 am Mexico time), there have been 30 human deaths as a result of the H1N1 strain infected and have not reached 2000 people. Much worse than the above is the true global pandemic, which cause no is a virus, a bacterium, much less a prion. It is disturbed and polluted the human mind that every day machine making a ploy to get more individual power and pleasure, on behalf of the rhetoric of "survival." Planet Earth is not just the "house man" or "everything on earth is it", is home to all living beings that inhabit it, although in the beginning have had extraterrestrial origin. How do you justify the sacrifice of so many healthy animals and sick just to "prevent the epidemic that will destroy mankind? How the government justifies the killing of 300 Egyptian thousand pigs on the "swine flu"?. Unfortunately not only is the epidemic of 2009. How many "heads" of cattle were slaughtered in Europe and Argentina by the FMD outbreak in 2001? How many birds were slaughtered to prevent the spread of bird flu between 2005-2006? Only in 1967 were killed 440 000 head of cattle for FMD How many trees are felled every day for the "human survival?" How many tons of plastic bags are dumped into the oceans DAILY? ... You can write a book with data from human and animal sacrifices that are committed daily in the Earth by groups of people with disabilities, mentally ill and worse, the most ignorant. These are true pandemics themselves for life, for which we care only when our interests are really threatened or affected.
We must be more critical and skeptical of the information we believe true, simply because they are network news "prestige." Often without thinking that the prestige is gained, sometimes, with promotion rather than real work and serious. Today the media are part of settlement strategies, suppression and conquest.
